The fine folks over at 
are running a contest, ending on 10/15/12. This is my entry: Samanya from their gorgeous book, Neverminds.
I've really admired their work from afar for awhile now. (Or at least, as "afar" as one can get on DeviantArt.) I figured, entering the contest might be a good way to say, "Hi guys. Your stuff is great!" So, here you have it!
Samanya was rendered mostly in Photoshop CS5.5 with a little boost from Illustrator and a Wacom Intuos 3. Time has no meaning. I was not counting.

I so totally love this!! And I really like the contrast u created between her morphed flesh and the flame tattoo like separations by making her flesh darker. Nice and bold, love it!
