Awhile ago, I did a speed paint of Carol Danvers in her new Captain Marvel costume. The piece earned such a positive response that I figured I ought to do it again - but with some real time and effort. Here's the result.
This was also a lesson reinforced. Back your stuff up! A computer failure could have caused me to lose weeks of work, but fortunately an automatic back-up averted a major disaster. In the end, I only had to redo her hair. I'm sure it was better the second time around anyway. I had good practice!
It's been a REALLY long time since I've done any digital painting in this level of detail. I have to say... it feels pretty good.
